We present our new addition – this beautiful copper red Mazda MX-5.

The car has been very well looked after and garaged by its previous owner, so it is in fantastic condition inside and out. It has been prepared to a very high standard and now awaits its new owner.

Thanks to excellent steering and a nimble rear-wheel drive chassis, you can have fun in any ‘5 no matter how fast you’re going – it is definitely fun to drive. The well finished interior may not be the most stylish around but it’s neatly laid out with easy to use controls. There are no soft touch plastics and it feels functional rather than inviting, however it’s clear that quality is good. The fabric hood has to be folded manually, but this is a straightforward and quick process. When the hood is raised there’s a deep, plastic-lined well behind the seats that can be used to store soft bags. Roof down or up, the Mazda MX-5 Mk3 is considerably more comfortable for longer drives than the previous models. With the fabric roof up, the cabin is well-insulated from wind, but it can amplify road noise – lower it and it’s still possible to have a civilized conversation with buffeting kept to a minimum up to motorway speeds.

By far the main appeal of the MX-5 is how fun it is to drive. The third-generation of the Mazda MX-5 adds layers of sophistication over the previous two. It’s roomier, more refined and easier to live with. Yet it doesn’t sacrifice the purposeful nature of Mazda’s roadster.

As such it’s one of the best modern classic cars today.

Our model has just been serviced and passed its MOT last month. It also comes with 2 keys and manual book.
